MARINAS & HARBORS
The island of Tetiaroa has no Marinas or harbors to speak of other than the facilities at the Tetiaroa Island Resort. There, you can anchor your boat only for a few hours unless you're a regular visiting tour boat or have permission to do so longer from the owners. Due to the fact that this wonderful island is actually privately owned, (by Marlon Brando), boaters and yachtsmen shouldn't expect to be able to stay long here as surprise visitors!
BOATYARDS, BUSINESS, & SERVICES
Tetiaroa also has no boatyards or yachting services to speak of other than the facilities at the Tetiaroa Island Resort. It is our understanding that there you can use the payphone or fill up with water, but won't find any marine parts or services for your boat.
The closest boating services, boatyards, and parts businesses, etc. can be found in nearby Papeete, Tahiti...

There are many
places to buy current, up to date charts for Tetiaroa and surrounding Polynesian islands, and any sailor worth his salt knows that having up to date charts is always well worth the investment. Unfortunately, finding good charts for use on the internet is not an easy process...
So far, TST has only aquired one nautical chart (slightly out of date, yet good quality) for useage on any of our sailing pages and it is for the Leeward Islands of the Society Island Archipelago. Of course, Tetiaroa is a Windward island, so it won't really help you with this area much except as a general point of interest.
